What is an email blacklist?
An email blacklist — also called a DNSBL or RBL (Realtime Blackhole List) — is a published list of IP addresses known to send spam. Mail servers query these lists in real time and may reject or junk messages from a listed IP, so a single listing can quietly wreck your deliverability. If your mail server's IP turns up here, follow the listing reason and use the blacklist's own delisting process to get removed. Checking the IP behind your domain regularly is a quick way to catch problems before your customers do.
