What do these tools do?
The port checker opens a TCP connection to a host and port to confirm a service is listening and reachable from the public internet — handy when opening a firewall or debugging a service that won't connect.
Ping measures the round-trip time to a host, and traceroute lists every router along the path, so you can see where latency or packet loss creeps in. Probes run from our server, not your browser, so results reflect the host's public reachability.
