Measure the round-trip latency to any host and see packet loss — sent from our servers, so results reflect the host's public reachability.

What does ping do?
Ping measures the round-trip time for a small probe to reach a host and come back, and reports how many probes were lost along the way. It's the quickest way to tell whether a host is reachable and how much latency sits between it and our servers. If you need to see where that latency creeps in, use the traceroute tool.
